SHURE SLXD wireless microphone system with hand-held microphone SM58, designed for recording vocals.

The set consists of a SLXD2 handheld transmitter equipped with an SM58 microphone capsule and an SLXD4 receiver. The set operates at frequencies from 470 to 514 MHz and provides transparent sound in 24-bit resolution with a dynamic range of up to 120 dB. It is used everywhere where high demands are placed on transmission reliability and sound clarity. Clear control enables easy operation of the entire system. The receiver is designed for mounting in a rack.

Depending on the operating mode, up to 12 systems can be operated simultaneously without unwanted interference. Quick commissioning of the assembly facilitates the automatic IR pairing of the receiver with the transmitter. High-contrast LCD displays contribute to clear control. The SLXD4 receiver is equipped with XLR and jack (TRS) output connectors located on the back. The Ethernet port is used for network connection with other compatible components.
The SLXD2 handheld microphone is equipped with the legendary SM58 dynamic microphone capsule, which provides clear undistorted sound in the entire spectrum from 50 Hz to 15 kHz. Its frequency characteristic is adapted for recording live singing. The cardioid directional characteristic enables precise targeting of the sound source and eliminates unwanted crosstalk. Thanks to the interchangeable capsule system, the SLXD2 can be equipped with a different type of microphone head (sold as a separate accessory) if necessary. The transmitter is able to work for up to 8 hours on a single charge. Two AA batteries or a Shure SB903 rechargeable battery can be used for power.
