Shure SLXD14E / 85-G59 is a digital wireless set designed for capturing the spoken word. It consists of a lapelier WL185 microphone, a SLXD1 transmitter bodypack and a SLXD4 receiver.

The set operates at frequencies from 470 to 514 MHz and provides transparent sound in 24-bit resolution with a dynamic range up to 120 dB.

It is used wherever high requirements are placed on transmission reliability and sound clarity. Clear control allows easy commissioning of the entire system. The receiver is adapted for rack mounting.

Depending on the operating mode, up to 12 systems can be operated simultaneously without unwanted interference. The quick commissioning of the set facilitates the automatic IR pairing of the receiver with the transmitter. High-contrast LCD displays contribute to clear operation. The SLXD4 receiver is equipped with XLR output connectors and a jack (TRS) located on the back. The Ethernet port is used for networking with other compatible components.
The SLXD1 bodypack is equipped with a four-pin TQG mini connector, which is used to connect the included microphone. The transmitter is able to work for up to 8 hours on a single charge. Two AA batteries or a Shure SB903 rechargeable battery can be used for power. The WL185 condenser cardio with directional characteristic provides clear, undistorted sound in the entire spectrum from 50 Hz to 17 kHz. The frequency response is adapted for reading the spoken word.
